Description:  CP ran unit trains of sulfuric acid from Montreal to the CSX at Philadelphia via the D&H, traffic which had been captured from Conrail. One of the trains is approaching BD and will soon make a crew change and head south.

Description:  Actually, by now, not a test, but a regular event. Southbound acid train 700 rolls 37 cars through BX with a guest star in the middle position. It will get a crew change at East Binghamton, then continue its trip to Baltimore.

Title:  Along the pole line
Description:  Train 419-it ran to Buffalo and Toronto the days 167 didnt run, though this day'seffort still has 18 stack platforms along with its 112 cars-rolls west along the George F Highway and the Erie pole line into the afternoon sun. NS would single track this ten years later, and remove the poles. It opened up the shot, but took away one of the things that made this line interesting.

Description:  The open field at Hiawatha Road in Owego rotates crops. This season it was growing corn, giving the appearance that passing trains were just riding on top of it. Heres CP 419 with 112 cars and 18 intermodal platforms passing the agricultural splendor.
